FxPro Raw+ Live Spreads — Measured, Not Advertised

Real spreads we recorded on FxPro’s own MetaTrader 5 Raw+ feed — 6 instruments, 3,714,831 ticks sampled, last captured 2026-09-15. The spread you actually trade on, not a marketing ‘from 0.0’.

Each row here is one symbol at one moment, quoted in that instrument's own unit — pips on a currency pair, points on gold, index points on a cash index. Two readings an hour apart can both be correct: a quote moves with the session, with the depth of the book and with the minutes around a scheduled release. No row is an average of the day, and none of them prices anything you have already done. Spreads are variable, and your platform shows the quote your own order will meet.

This is the live, hour-by-hour measured spread feed (refreshed daily). For the Standard vs Raw+ cost comparison and fees, see our spreads & costs page.

⚠️ Avoid the daily rollover. EUR/USD spreads blow out around 03:00 BST (00:00 FxPro server time), widening to about 1.782 pips and spiking higher — trade the calmer hours instead.

Best = the tightest quiet-market quote we saw; Typical = the median you usually trade; Busy market = the wider spread to expect about 10% of the time (news, rollover, thin liquidity). ‘At capture’ is the live spread at the last reading. Metals such as XAU/USD use a different contract size, so their cash cost is on our gold page. Server FxPro-MT5 Demo, feed 2026.09.15 14:10:41.

Spread through the trading day (measured, last 24h)

Best hours to trade EUR/USD: the hours with the most price range for the spread you pay (measured tradability score — movement divided by spread): 18:00 BST (range 23.3p), 19:00 BST (range 13.8p), 21:00 BST (range 13.1p). The thinnest hours, where range barely covers the spread, are around 04:00 BST, 02:00 BST, 03:00 BST. Times are shown in BST.

Table hours are FxPro server time (about UTC+3 / EET); the highlighted guidance above is shown in BST. Average pip spread by hour over the last 24 hours, with the worst single-tick spike. Spreads run tightest in the peak London–New York overlap and widen around the 00:00 server rollover and the thinner Asian hours — the sparkline is each instrument’s daily shape.

All-in round-turn cost for one standard lot (100,000 units): typical spread × pip value, plus the $7 Raw+ commission ($3.50 per lot per side ($7.00 round turn) on Raw+ and cTrader accounts). On a Standard account you pay a wider spread instead of that commission — see the full spreads and costs page.

Advertised ‘from 0.0’ vs what we measured

FxPro markets Raw+ as spreads ‘from 0.0 pips’ — a best-case floor. Across our sample the tightest EUR/USD quote we recorded was 0.1 pips and the typical was 0.2 pips. That is normal: the ‘from’ figure is a floor you rarely trade on, so judge a Raw+ account by its typical spread and how far it widens under load (the p90 column), not the headline number.

How we measured this

Spreads are variable and widen around high-impact news and the daily rollover. Past readings do not guarantee future spreads. Last updated 2026-09-15.

A row is a moment; the shape is what carries

The unit is part of the reading. The same number is not the same cost on a currency pair and on a metal, so a row is read against its own instrument before it is set beside any other. A row is also not a rate card: it is what was quoted for that symbol when the reading was taken.

What carries from one reading to the next is the shape rather than the number — which symbols sit tight, which widen, and at which hours they do it. That is why the hour a reading was taken in belongs to the reading, and why a figure copied into a plan yesterday describes yesterday.

Frequently asked questions

Why do two readings of the same symbol disagree?
Because each is a single moment. The session, the depth of the book and the minutes around a release all move a quote.
Why is the same number not the same cost everywhere?
Because each instrument is quoted in its own unit — pips on a currency pair, points on gold, index points on a cash index.
Which reading should I use?
The one in front of you when you send the order. Every earlier one describes the moment it was taken in.
Can I copy a figure from here into a plan?
Copy the symbol and the size, not the quote. A plan built on a quote is out of date by the time it is carried out.
Does this show what my open position is worth?
No. It reports what is being quoted. Your own platform values a running position against the same live quotes.
